A 'man' and his bike

The traffic in London is usually quite stupidly busy but when parts of major roads get shut off things just get ridiculous. People get delayed for anything up to 7 hours...Don't drive a car!

Today the A3 which is the largest road near the pub was blocked off at the roundabout called tibbits corner (these roundabouts are huge, they have heaps of walkways and riding paths running underneath them. the roundabout situation here really is silly, they're either just painted onto the road and no one takes any notice of them or they are as large as football fields and are major junctions). I usually ride under the roundabout and into Wimbledon common but today i had one direction of the A3 all to myself so i proceeded to use it whilst waving to and overtaking all the stranded cars on the other side of the highway. There's something about riding down a 4 lane (in both directions) highway doing the previously mentioned that gives you a great feeling inside with lots of smiles!!!

p.s. The holiday has been booked again and tomorrow morning is the time of truth
